Takes less than 10 minutes to make.
350g of tomato ketchup
1 bay leaf
3 tablespoons of Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon of wholegrain mustard
1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
6 drops of Tabasco sauce
Juice of 1 medium lemon
1 teaspoon of Maldon Sea Salt
A few grinds of black pepper
In a saucepan, mix the ketchup, bay leaf, Worcestershire sauce, wholegrain mustard, smoked paprika, cayenne pepper, Tabasco and lemon juice.
Heat until bubbling and simmer for 2 minutes.
Add the salt and ground black pepper.
Serve as a sauce or cool and use as a marinade for ribs and chicken.
